Aconitum napellus: Acute inflammation of the throat with a high fever, dark redness of the parts; Almost entire inability to swallow, with hoarseness.
Apis mellifica: Sore throat; Tonsils are swollen, fiery red, stinging pains while swallowing, better cold drinks.
Arum dracontium: Continual disposition to clear throat; Hoarseness.
Belladonna: Dry, hot throat; Tonsils enlarged; High fever.
Bryonia: Dry throat; Back of throat seems swollen.
Cajuputum : Can hardly swallow at all; Voice hoarse.
Echinacea: Voice husky; Tonsils purple or black; Soreness of throat worse on left side.
Ferrum phosphoricum: Sore throat with colds; Tonsils red and swollen.
Glycyrrhiza glabra: Respiratory system.
Kali bichromicum: Throat pains when putting the tongue out; Discharge of thick yellow matter throught the posterior nares; Violent tickling in ears.
Lachesis mutus: Sore throats begin on left side; Throat pain extends to ear; Tonsils purplish.
Mentha piperita: Throat is externally painful and sensitive to touch; Frequent cough.
Mercurius vivus: Glandular swellings; Sore, raw, smarting, burning throat; Loss of voice.
Naja tripudians: Much mucus in throat; Shooting pain in left tonsil.
Natrum carbonicum: Hawks much mucous from throat; Throat painful when yawning and swallowing.
Natrum sulphuricum: Thick yellow mucus drops from posterior sinuses; Ulcers on tonsils.

Thuja occidentalis: Much mucous in throat hawked up with difficulty.
